Well, I am first and foremost a follower of Jesus Christ. Although I often fail to live this out to its fullness, this is the most defining aspect of my life. Second to that is the fact that I am married to my wonderful wife Liz, and we have two small children, Graham (2) and Lydia (just arrived). I have served on staff with Cru (formerly known as Campus Crusade for Christ) since 2002. Presently we’re living in Texas, although we’ll be making a move to Boston, MA, in the coming months to join the campus ministry there.
ABOUT THIS BLOG
Thinking out. Digging Down. Looking up. That’s what this blog is all about.
There are often issues and ideas that cross my mind that leave me perplexed and curious for more. This is a place for me to raise some of those topics and explore them in the process of seeking truth and understanding. To often we fail to consider the deeper implications of the choices and challenges that face us on a daily basis. Inspired by a wonderful sermon series by Dr. Timothy Keller called Practical Graces, I hope to use this place to think out the implications of a certain view, to dig down in order to uncover root issues, and to look up to see what we will ultimately do about them.
Feel free to join me in this pursuit. In fact, I would welcome any feedback that would come my way, both the positive and the critical. There is much I have to learn and doing it alongside others is by far the most effective way to learn. So read, consider, and respond. And thanks for joining me in this pursuit.
